Decorated Dogs
Daughters of the American Revolution
Athletic Teams
Music provided by “The Rusty Skippers”

A highlight of the day is a parade down Main Street and its open to all local organizations who would like to adorn their uniforms or their 02025 pride and march together for the sheer fun and camaraderie of it. If your Boy Scout or Girl Scout Troop, sports team or local organization would like to be part of this 2nd annual parade please contact Cohasset Day Coordinator, Peter Brown at pbrown@campanelli.com

It’s only fitting that in these dog days of summer that a highlight of the parade will be the Decorated Dog Parade coordinated by the Scituate Animal Shelter. It means exactly what it sounds like—have the kids make a costume for man’s (and women’s) best friend and take a stroll with Cohasset’s four legged residents. Costumes are optional. All dogs are welcome to participate in their birthday suit. If you’re interested in the dog parade contact Nancy Story at storynanciej@yahoo.com .

If you prefer to ride instead of walking the dog, then join in the Decorated Bicycle Parade. Each participant is encouraged to decorate their bike and ride alongside family and friends. For more information about this contact Beverly Bielewicz at beverly@paperscapes.biz.

Each of these events within the parade requires a little creativity and a big desire for fun.
